Why this training program is needed?

Strategy is one of the most widely mis-used and mis-understood terms in management. In earlier times, educated priests in India used the Sanskrit language as the primary medium for all literature. This meant that the information contained within the literature was out of reach for the majority of Indians. Strategy holds a similar position in the business/ government world today. It is often considered to be something of interest to only a limited few in the top management of organisations. It is presented as a serious and difficult concept. This programme offers the opportunity to understand strategy in a way that is accessible, applicable and relevant to management teams’ todays. It takes complex strategical concepts and simplifies them in a way that is easily understandable to all.

Content of the programme

After completion of the programme, the participant should be able to do the following three things:


  1. To understand the various concepts of strategy.

  2. To relate various strategy concepts to their organization and role.

  3. To be able to apply, remember and communicate various strategy concepts.
